Is the device properly terminated? with the proper cable for the scsi
bus speed/type used? i.e. you can't use a regular ultrawide cable when
running LVD, U80, U160 or U320 as those require the twist style (think
lots of twisted pairs in one big honkin cable) cables. same with
terminators. a SE terminator causes issues on an LVD bus and vs.
versus.
