[nflug] USB Mouse erratic bahaviour

Im running Fed 5 and have noticed certain times when I
move my mouse across screen it stops for while then
continues to move gets jerkey movements too. I have
had this happen before on other installs of linux with
different mice ps2 and usb even with new ones out of
the box at work. What would be causing this or is it
some sort of bug? Any suggestions?
