[nflug] ram swap fc4

I have 786.432 mb of ram and the system monitor indicates 757.6 mb. I
know some of the ram is reserved and I think in all probability the
757.6 mb is a correct reading for usable ram but I'm not absolutely sure
so I'm wondering if I should manually add the actual amount of ram which
is 786.432 mb or if all is well and I should leave it alone?
Also I have a slight swap problem. When I boot up, my swap isn't
automatically turned on. I found a solution by using these commands.
su
/sbin/mkswap -L swap /dev/hdb1
/sbin/swapon /dev/hdb1
Then the swap works fine until I reboot again which isn't very often so
if I forget to turn the swapon I am going to run into a problem because
I dip into the swap quite a bit, especially when I'm messing with big mb
pictures and gimp.
I searched the web for info which led me to the commands but I'm unsure
how, what or where to add commands to get the swapon at boot up. Fedora
has a bugzilla report on this but I can't find the permanent fix, just
the temp fix using the commands. If someone could chime in with some
info or a solution I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,
jb
