You'd need an installer / bootloader that understood how to interact with EFI.

 These pieces are already present in the open source world as EFI is also used with Itaniums, however AFAIK there are no distributions which currently contain EFI support in their x86 ISOs. You'd have to roll your own - not a horribly difficult task, but it will be significantly harder than simply downloading, burning, and booting an ISO as normal.
