[nflug] driver stuff

I didnt want to steal Eric's thread as it's sort of on the same subject 
but has any used/tried ndiswrapper stuff for winmodems to be used in 
Linux land? I just wonder if this can be done for nic's, why not modems? 
If I had a dime for every hour I've put into trying to get some POS 
cheesy winmodem to work in Linux........
