Congratulations on passing!!

Are you sure that it's semaphores that you are running out of???

What's giving you the indication that it's semaphores?

Mark

Subject: [nflug] Joining the Linux+ Family

Good afternoon folks! :-)

Well, I just can't keep this good news to myself :-)

Went to the local New Horizons in Cheektowaga yesterday, took the CompTIA
Linux+ certification test that my partner's aunt paid $225 for and PASSED
it! :-) WOO HOO! :-) So anyway, I apologize if that is off topic.

For an on-topic discussion, the place I work for from time to time with what
appears to be Apache 1.3.x running out of semaphores under Kernel 2.4 or 2.6
I believe even though the number is semaphores available to Apache is pretty
much at a pretty decent number. Other than upgrading to the series 2.x
family of Apache, is there any way that this can be prevented?

Thanks!

Robert
