[nflug] GCC question

This is not a "UB only supports" thing. It's more likely an instructor preference. Anyway no need to buy anything we have MSVC++ 6.0 available our citrix server.

If you have an engineering or nsm account you can come to 101 Bell Hall and use our Linux lab (RedHat EWS 4.3) which has access to the citrix server.

You can compile it on Linux, save it to your home directory and then compile it in VC++ seconds later. (you have access to all your files from citrix).

Let me know if you need an account.

Since UB only 'supports' 6.0 thats what the professor is dead set on using. However students/staff can go to UB Micro and get the newest version (or close to) of VS for cheap...
