[nflug] Maintenance Update

hello everyone,

the migration to the new server is complete and i'd like to give you all 
an update on what's been done so far. quite a few underlying things have 
changed, for the better i dare say.

firstly, and most importantly everything is served on linux now! 
previosly both where running on openbsd for policy reasons, which have 
since changed. you'll notice the little green geeko, not geiko at the 
bottom of the website pages.

secondly, the email list has been migrated from majordomo+sendmail to 
mailman+postfix, i should have done this years ago. mailman, nice web 
interface for everything, a message archival system which actually 
works. i don't want to start a postfix vs. sendmail flame war, i was an 
avid sendmail user for many many years but postfix screams and you don't 
need the "bat book" for configure it.

the last step in this migration is going to be the website. while the 
site has been moved to the new machine it's still the old, super out of 
date content. the new site will be using the drupal, 
http://www.drupal.com CMS software. i just setup another site using it 
and i really, really like it. when i get the beta/test site up i'll let 
you all know.

sorry it took so long to get this stuff done, but when i'm not at work i 
usually hate computers and spend far to much time climbing rocks and ice.
