good linux mobo advice

Meh, I'd welcome "old and slow" like that! Of course, I'm not really a 
power user of the newer stuff. Nice thing about Linux, you're off that 
tread wheel, like what you've got, and suddenly wake up and a whole 
generation of chips has passed you by! ;-)
... or maybe I'm just old and slow? :-P
