[nflug] Signal Frequency

Everytime I'm in rdesktop and something flickers quickly in the rdesktop 
window such as a rotating image on a website my monitor dies and get:

please change signal timing

the vertical and horizontal are different at times
I have tried to search on the internet but can only find information 
that it might be a video driver problem, I thought it would be a 
configuration in X11 ...any clues would really help...
