hardware browser and mounting scsi cdroms

This is another good point and this goes back too a question I had a 
while back. Can you see all the devices from the BIOS portion of your 
scsi controller, i.e. <ctrl a> at boot? If they don't all show up there, 
it's definitely a hardware/bus/termination issue.
