grub in general sounds like a great topic to me.
nice and basic.
I also need help with some grub matters, like how to even get at
grub.conf again from the cd in my latest attempt at gentoo, since the
default values that I entered there don't seem to be doing the trick. I
get "Error 11: Unregognized device string Press any key to continue"
(running around in circles). How do I get write control on the hard
drive back rebooting from the cd to edit grub.conf? nano appears let me
edit, but nothing gets saved.
I am also looking for a way to add enlightenment to the sessions list
for the RH9 laptop that I would no doubt be bringing to the meeting, so
I can just choose it instead of my current method of having to log into
the failsafe xwm (or whatever it is) and typing "enlightenment &"
I am truly planning to make this meeting ( my 1st), and I don't see any
obstacles at the moment.
