[nflug] Recursive "/boot" directory

Everything is there except the grub directory.
this is the contents of /boot and I see it now. It is a symlink to 
itself. I wonder what happened to the /boot/grub directory!

That way you can access your kernel by (hd0,0)/bzImage or (hd0,0)/boot/bzImage. But its weird that everything else has vanished. If its completely empty except for the boot/boot symlink, then maybe your boot directory isn't mounted? I believe that Gentoo puts it in by default.
