Slack 10.1 - Kernel 2.6.12.5 - Nvidia Drivers

So i took ur advice and looked through the errors and realized that
the .config in the /usr/src/linux dir was named .config~ (or something
like that) so I made a copy and named it .config and boom it all
worked. Thanks!
