Yes there is.  I have UBLinux 2.1 and 3.02 here at home.

Is there an "official" UB Linux, and is it usable for students?

My daughter is attending, and says that she's forced to use Windows. Any 

truth to this and any pointers on how to help her rebel? ;-)
