No- It's filesystem encryption through a loopback device.  Password is
entered at mount time. If you forget your password, sucks to be you.

This is the best doc I've seen online that shows how to do it.

are we talking about acl's? So how would you see your data again? Let's 
say you forgot passwords or whatever you would have to know to see your 
data again.
