Problems Installing Mandrake 8.0 on Intel P4 mother board

Well, my first recommendation is to get a set of mandrake 10.1 or 10.0 disks.
8.0 is very old and may have a problem with newer boards with unknown IDE
controllers. The newer versions have better IDE support.

Cheers!
