PS/2 ---> USB Keyboard Mouse Problems

I hate to bring up an old topic but I finally have some time to
troubleshoot. Ok so I got the mouse working by using a ps2 adapter (im
lazy) but now the keyboard doesnt work. Suse's hardware control center
shows my keyboard under the mice but labels it as USB MULTIMEDIA
KEYBOARD. I tried to configure it but it runs the mouse config
program. For some reason this keyboard will not work with the ps2
adapter. Anyone have any ideas? I would really like to get it working
soon as its a nice keyboard :) Thanks for all the help...
