If you get the sources, look for a '.spec' file in the top level directory. If
it's there, you can use 'rpmbuild' to make the RPM. So you could get the
source, patch it and then run 'rpmbuild -ba specfile' to build the RPMs. They
will wind up in /usr/src/ and you can just install them from there.
