If it's a diff patch, you'll need the gimp sources- Untar them, cd into the source directory, and run 'patch -p0 < /path/to/patchfile.patch'

Then do the magic 3--

./configure
make
su -c make install

Subject: gimp-2.0!

Hey guys, I just installed the new finally stable gimp-2.0 on my Fedora box, and I don't know if anyone's noticed with all the previews, but the xsane scan dialog is no longer included. I've found a lot on the web, and I found a patch on the www.xsane.org website - http://people.debian.org/~jblache/misc/xsane-0.92_gimp2.0.patch
but I have no idea what to do with a patch file. Any ideas gentlemen? Thanks, Jesse.
