You'll usually find people who are selling them.
They're typically very honest about condition or
quirks as well, although they're mostly windows users,
so compatibility questions will be a bit more
difficult. I also have a beat up (and I do mean beat
up) Thinkpad 390e here. Broken hinge, needs a new
trackpoint (25 bucks or so) and new batteries. It's
rough, but I'm not asking much either.
