kde configuration

I have kde on mandrake 9.1.  I have it set up to show only tasks for the 
current desktop in the task bar.

1) How do I set it up so that when kde starts specific tasks are started 
in specific desktops?

2) Is there an easy way to move a task to another desktop without having 
to change it so all tasks for all desktops are displayed in the task bar?
