CDROM Failure

It said 

I have a Compaq DeskPro EN SFF p2 450 and when i was installing my new 
hardrive one of the pins on the motherboard for thr cdrom drive came off. 
I tried to install a differnet cdrom drive i couldn't becuase the old one 
was made for the case and tehre was no room.
