cdrom burner/scsi emulation problems

You need to add the following option to the kernel(in file grub.conf or
lilo.conf)

hdd=ide-scsi hdb=ide-scsi

I also think that you do not need "options ide-cd ignore=hdd,hdb" in 
your /etc/modules.conf

I do not think that you need the above line.
