Here are the meanings of your flags,
M = multiple file dump, to get past the 2GB filesize limit
0 = full dump
u = update log
f = file name

Here is what I use,
"dump 0uMBzf 1048576 /location/dumpfile /dev/hd?"

This makes a full backup (0), updates the log (u), makes a multiple file
dump to get past the 2GB filesize limit (M), specifies the size of the
file to reach at 1048576 (B), compresses file (z) and names the files
(f) to be root001, root002, etc.
