News problem

BuffNET hasn't outsourced their newsgroups yet huh? I would've thought
they would have by now, expecially since that fiasco with the NYS
Attorney General and Dreamscape that happened when I worked there.

There may be free news providers, but I'm not sure about which are good
and not, maybe someone else can fill in that info. Meanwhile, check out
google for their newsgroups: http://groups.google.com/

>From the link you show, it looks like it's trying to use Netscape own
news server and not your ISP's, but I'm not 100% familiar with it. My
ISP outsources to corp.supernews.com, so you may check into
SuperNews.com's subscription service if you plan on using newsgroups
often.

Hope it helps some...
