Mozilla 1.5 Spell Checker?

I just downloaded and installed Mozilla 1.5.  The help screens say
there's a spell checker  option, but when I look under Compose, I don't
find it.  Where is it and how do I use it?  It's the main reason I
upgraded to 1.5. (I couldn't get it installed and working in 1.4.)
