MySQL problems

Although I am a linux user (on and off since 1995) I am also a WIMP 
(windowing icon mouse pointer) person.  At least for some tasks.  And 
basic database administration.  Look into PHPMyAdmin or MySQLcc for a 
graphical interface into the basic admin tasks on your sql box.  You'll 
be glad you did.
