Printing in Konqueror

When I try to print from konqueror, it goes through processing all the 
pages and then says:

Catastrophe!
A print error occurred.  Error message received from system:

Error while reading filter description for true.  Empty command line 
received.

When I look at the various printer options everything looks right.
In the section for filters, there's nothing.  I don't really know what a 
filter is in this context.

I can print fine from other applications like Mozilla.

I'm running Mandrake 9.1 rc2 on a PII.

What do I have to configure to get this to work?
