Swap size typically doesn't need to be messed with.  When the machine was
installed, it created swap partitions and that is what it's using.  In the 'bad
ole days', your swap had to be at least twice the size of physical memory
because the system would store the memory image from the running kernel in swap
space in case of a panic so that you could do a crash dump analysis.  I don't
know if this is the case any more but I know that the machine will
automatically detect memory and use it but it will only use the swap space that
is available and will not allocate more.
