Mozilla Crashing when I go to Java sites

Are you using Slackware still? If so, remove the whole Java thing you
installed, as the others have mentioned, go back to Slackware's site, or
check your cd's for the "Extra" stuff.

ftp.cerias.purdue.edu/pub/os/slackware/slackware-8.1/extra/

in there, you'll see a few directories of extra stuff not in the normal
distro, including Java. Go into the "java2-runtime-environment" directory,
and download BOTH j2re-1.4.0_01-i586-1.tgz and j2re-1.4.0_01-i586-1.txt

Use "installpkg j2re-1.4.0_01-i586-1.tgz" to install, and voila... it
should work fine.
