Summary: WordPerfect filters for OpenOffice

This is what I found:

The initial release of OpenOffice had no WordPerfect filters. StarOffice
from Sun did, but they were atrocious, and castrated most
converted documents.

There are 2 projects going on to implement filters into OpenOffice:

http://libwpd.sourceforge.net - (actual binary filter)

http://wp.openoffice.org - (perl script)

Unfortunately, neither of these are for Windows as of yet, and are still
in a somewhat beta phase. But if I had to go with one of them, I'd go
with libwpd.
