For the Video guys, Mark?

there are 2 ways you can do it;
permanently- vi your ~/.xawtv file with the "mov-rate = 48000" in the
[global] section
temporarily- from within your xawtv session, right click the screen,
click record movie, then click on sample rate to change your choice
(doesnt look like a button but it is)
Here is a copy of my .xawtv file, it works perfectly, still gotta play
with the fps and video formats, my movies seem way bigger per length
than the usual porno's lol

freqtab = us-cable
keypad-ntsc = on
fullscreen = 1024 x 768
input = Television
mixer = line
mov-driver = avi
mov-video = mjpeg
mov-audio = stereo
mov-rate = 48000

[defaults]
norm = ntsc
audio = stereo
capture = grabdisplay
