Well, also a part of downtown Buffalo is on a highly protected set of
power grids..still remnant from when there were a lot of large banks
down there.
In fact, they're not on one grid, but two separate grids. In the
blizzard in the mid 70's they actually diverted power from west Seneca
to maintain power in a number of buildings..

Well i know why Buffalo never went out it was cuz NAMO's contorl center
for 
there grid is in the intercity :P
