USB mouse and keyboard

Havin an issue...
Just bought an Iogear USB KVM switch.  When I boot to my server the system
responds to the keyboard and mouse (because initially the BIOS controls it)
but once the Linux kernel takes over my keyboard and mouse become
unusable....
 
Any suggestions?
