Slackware 8.1 is released!!

I was once getting kernel panics because of a bad swap partition. Remaking
the swap space fixed the panics. But I'm sure your problem could be anything
else.

Faith and I worked on her P-200MMX this weekend, I like the way
Patrick set up the options for file system choices!  We keep running
into kernel panics and spontaneous reboots, but IIRC, I added some
extra ram since we last worked on the machine.  More RAM is better,
but NOT if it causes panics! 8-O

IMHO, the 8.1 will be worth it.  I found it amusing that he calls it "the
first major release of 2001", though.  Faith has her three year old
sister running around saying "Slackware!" ala the "wazzup?"
commercials!  Funny as all get out!
