trash icon

What BELONGS in KDE's trash ? 
My trash icon is broken now; its a folder- no full/empty.
I opened trash and had view hidden still checked, but didn't realize, 
so I hit Ctrl A then Del. [I hit a snag trying to get Pan going - THOU 
SHALT NOT CONFIGURE AFTER MIDNIGHT]. I must have got rid of 
whatever hidden file or directory resides there. 

This is the one and only time I miss that stupid "Are you sure ... ?" 
dialog of windows.
