Still having trouble with QuakeII

I'm still having problems with quake II.  Still saying that it can't open
maps/base1.bsp. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?  It happens with a
version that I downloaded from the net with OpenGL support and the RPM that is
for Mandrake...
