Negative Ghostrider, the pattern is full. My archives don't show Ron being
involved in the "Is this group still alive?" thread of 12/03/02. I don't
recall anyone making mention of it until now. I just emailed you
personally, as I figured it was an unintentional miswording and let it go
at that. I just did not want anyone to be alienated by that form of statement.

I don't know Ron well enough to know if he needs to chill or not ;-)

Fair enough.. I was not there, so I wouldn't/didn't know that. I just got
the impression that it was not discussed as it seems a fairly common topic
among the group emails..

I am not trying to bash you either. And I fully admit the quip about the
customers was a completely unfair comment to make, and therefore I
apologize for that.

I agree, as I stated, I feel that your offer to open up your home for the
meetings was both generous and sincere. I also do not want MY personal
rantings to interfere with that, as that would be extremely unfair to the
group as a whole. It is just that this seems to be a recurring theme and
as such has crawled under my skin. I have a LOT of issues going on right
now, and seem to fly off the handle fairly quickly of late, this is just
one prime example. I enjoy the group, and want to contribute as much as I
can, but there are limitations that have been imposed on my abilities to
interact more, unfortunately they are outside of my control at this time.

I understand where you are coming from, as I have tried to get others
together for linux meetings here in my place in Olean. Although many
seemed to be "interested", and I would set aside other personal plans to
accomodate, often there would be one other person besides myself. It is
frustrating, and I eventually scrapped the entire idea. I just chalked it
up as "their loss" and let it go at that. And I WOULD like to make the
meetings there, as it is MY loss that I cannot show up, but unfortunately I
have to resolve some issues on my end before I can make that happen.

Agreed.. 'nuff said.
