Ok, first of all I am an idiot newbie jackass. But everyone here either
has held that title or currently holds it as well. So, for the second
cousins of Linus and the red headed stepchildren [like me] of Linus
alike, I would like to pose a question.
I have this old Toshiba laptop with a Celeron 400 in it, among other
things. I just installed Mandrake 8.2 on it but when I look it shows
that the CPU is a 200 MHz. How can I change that so it knows what is
really in there? The BIOS on this pig doesn't specify the CPU so let's
just assume that is not really an option unless someone has a great idea
on it.
I have some other questions but let's take care of this first.
What say you?
