Hi Rob

Well eBay always has people selling DEC Alpha's. As to the honesty of the
seller and the
condition of the equipment I can't attest to. I'm right now cleaning up
thing here in the office
and don't have much time to search the web for info, but what is a: Strong
ARM
(preferibly not the Intel version)?

I'll be working again on the DEC Alpha's most likely next week, I have to
reread through the
info I printed off the web about the models I have. I got my hands on a few
units, but I'm only
going to try to get two up and running and use the others for surplus parts.
As soon as I get at least one working (to the best of my ability) I'll bring
it to a meeting.
If anyone knows of a source for the following equipment that would like to
donate their old unused
items working or not. I can frankenstein what I need out of them, I'm
looking for:
SCSI 50 pin centronics drive tower, active terminator, SCSI drives and KVM
switches please let me know.

I think I'll bring the AMD box with mandrake 8.1 to get a few pointers from
the group as to what I should do to it next.

See you all there on the 21st
