new lug server

hello all,

i've been putting together the *NEW* web server for the lug this week,
thanks to everyone who donated parts. the machine is a pentium 225 mhz
(overclocked), 32mb ram, 20gb hdrive. i have an old scsi controller but
it doesn't appear to be functional. the machine is running redhat 7.1,
with apache 1.3.20, php 4.06, mod_ssl, mysql, and jakarta-tomcat (java
server pages), mailman list software. 

this machine will host not only nflug but also nfjug/buffalojug which is
the niagara frontier JAVA users group. any of you java programmers might
be interested in this, www.nfjug.org.

there are still a bunch of things that need to be done to the machine
before it's moved into production.

	- migrate from majordomo to mailman for the mailing list
	- continue hardening the OS (mostly there)
	- convert the pages to php (not important but trivial)

i'm sure theres more to do but it's escaping me at the moment. if anyone
has anything to share or contribute please do.
