Vulnerability Stats; was: Re: Interesting chart re server security

Below is another interesting set of statistics. The introduction has some 
good points and some caveats.  One of the things said is: 

"The statistics should not be taken to imply that some particular operating 
system or application is more or less secure than another one..."

As was implied in earlier postings, any OS can be made more secure.  
I would suggest that defacements are often more a function of the 
management of the server than it is the default and inherent characteristics 
of an OS.
