  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Well I'm stumped!</FONT></DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I got all the way to choose the drive that Linux
is on to start the install. So I chose Local CD-ROM and then a popup window
came up stating that if could not find the Local CD-ROM. Well I looked at the
jumpers and I think that all are set correctly. One on PRV/ALV </FONT></DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>and one on ID 4 &amp; ID 2 </FONT></DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>So I don't understand what gives?
  .....................HELP!!!</FONT></DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>MILO / Anaconda found all the drives had no
errors except that partitions on some drives are not useable. No kidding I
know I have to use Disk Druid or fdisk.&nbsp;</FONT></DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Oh and by the way must I use fdisk or can I use
Disk Druid. I have 5 scsi disks. 3. small ones under 500mgs, 1. 1gig&nbsp; and
  1. 4gig. I would like to use Disk Druid because the Installation Manual claims
that with Disk Druid you can set up all the drives to be allowable ie: seen as
one volume, (one large harddrive) through this&nbsp;option&nbsp;using
"Allowable Drives" in Disk Druid. I do have MS-DOS Partitions on two of the
  smaller harddrives. </FONT></DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Question does Disk Druid remove MS-DOS partitions
and then set&nbsp;the BSD disk labels for the drives or do I still have to
use&nbsp;fdisk to remove these MS-DOS partitions before using Disk Druid to
set the partitions for (BSD disk labels) in order to install Alpha Linux.
  </FONT></DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I do have RedHat 7.1 for Alpha. I also have a
problem. As if you are saying be now oh no not another one. Well the cd-rom
can read the pressed copy of RedHat 6.0 and trys to load that, but when I put
in the burned copy of RedHat 7.1 it claims that files are corrupt of missing.
I guess it must be a bad download? Does anyone have a copy of RedHat 7.1 that
could a copy be burned from. If so I would pay for the CD's. If not I guess I
could try to download it again.</FONT></DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Thanks </FONT></DIV>
