I have made it very clear that I now receive any nflug mail at
jjneff at yahoo.com, and I am more than happy to respond to people's inquiries
about nflug. By the by, has anyone ever played Bullshit bingo, you check off
BS "power" words when they are used during a meeting or lecture. "Straw man"
is always included, congratulations Dennis:-) Oh and in case you didn't know,
Yahoo mail puts a big # at the top of the inbox telling ya' the # of new
messages so you don't have to count 'em (ain't technology grand?!) Any commemt
I made re a penguin alter-ego was certainly in jest, but if you are so
sensitive about it I will not make any references to you or your e-mails,
please POST-on and don't be surprised by the number of people who have figured
out how to send dje at pcom to /dev/null (ever wonder why the number of responses
to your posts seems so small?)

So far you have managed to insult everyone, (presumptuous, arrogant, and
cowardly in the extreme) oh and we are also lazy by implication Oh yeah we are
also well-meaning but insensitive. Well I for one am sorry to have
disappointed you so. Can you write an e-mail without attacking another person?
A sincere question, me I hoped to see more explanations of why Debian is so
well liked, maybe get to the bottom of the qmail vs. sendmail mystery and maybe
even one day learn about the "lost transparent background".

But I suppose we should take up a lot more space telling people how much they
suck...

Now for something completely different. This Sunday will be the third Sunday I
believe. Bob and James are planning on continuing a discussion of Firewall and
routing stuff and I was wondering how many people would be interested in
starting a learning group. We would each have to have a copy of "Running
Linux", then set up a schedule of how many chapters to read and discuss between
meetings. As we run into snags while reading we could check up on each other
via the list. Anyone interested? I picture not much reading during the
meetings but more of a review of what worked and what didn't. I for one am
still having trouble getting command lines to run automatically in a Deb
startup... and I would love t play a game once in a while with others of like
minded individuals.

Please feel free to contribute ideas. We are not all waiting for your posts to
jump down your throat...
