The models affected are the external Free Agent drives. First of all, they're formatted NTFS from the factory, which who really cares.<br>
<br>
More to the point, they have a power saving feature that spins the drives down after a few minutes of inactivity, however with linux drives, when they come back up they only connect with a USB 1.1 rather connection.<br>
