<pre wrap="">Hey,
This is a reminder in reguards to the chat room Mark set up. There are a few
people dropping in and i am alwayz there with my BNC as Grafton or Graf|BBL
etc. Also with my eggdrop NFLUG i set it up so it links the EFNET room to
simalr rooms on DilexNet and phr33k. So if you do not like EFNET but still
want #nflug then go to those. More to come. I would suggest phr33k since i am
a netadmin there address sierra.phr33k.net and for dilexnet i suggest
flip.dilexnet.net Have Fun =).
Example:
On efnet you would see:
20:23 <@NFLUG> [Grafton@DilexNet] test for e-mail
20:24 <@NFLUG> [phr33k] Grafton (<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:joshua@netadmin.phr33k.net">joshua@netadmin.phr33k.net</a>) has joined #nflug
(Handle: Grafton)
20:24 <@NFLUG> [phr33k] ChanServ changed the mode in #nflug to +q
20:24 <@NFLUG> [phr33k] ChanServ changed the mode in #nflug to +o Grafton
20:24 <@NFLUG> [phr33k] Sierra changed the mode in #nflug to +v Grafton
20:24 <@NFLUG> [Grafton@phr33k] test for e-mail
On Dilexnet :
20:12 <@Tango> [EFNET] shipper
(~anyone@ny-chicagostreet6d-209.buf.adelphia.net) has joined
#nflug (Handle: *)
20:12 <@Tango> [EFNET] NFLUG changed the mode in #nflug to +v shipper
20:23 <@Grafton> test for e-mail
20:24 <@Tango> [phr33k] Grafton (<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:joshua@netadmin.phr33k.net">joshua@netadmin.phr33k.net</a>) has joined #nflug
(Handle: Grafton)
20:24 <@Tango> [phr33k] ChanServ changed the mode in #nflug to +q
20:24 <@Tango> [phr33k] ChanServ changed the mode in #nflug to +o Grafton
20:24 <@Tango> [phr33k] Sierra changed the mode in #nflug to +v Grafton
20:24 <@Tango> [Grafton@phr33k] test for e-mail
and on phr33k:
0:24 <@Grafton> test for e-mail
20:25 <@Sierra> [Grafton@EFNET] test for e-mail
20:25 <@Sierra> [DilexNet] Grafton (<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:joshua@admin.phr33k.net">joshua@admin.phr33k.net</a>) has parted #nflug

Tell me if I've got this right. <br>

IRC and ICQ are not the same thing. <br>
ICQ is like an email prog, where you can send a message to a specific person if you know
their address. <br>
IRC is more like a web browser, where any number of people can access the
same web page [channel] at the same time. <br>
Is this a pretty fair analogy ? <br>

And what is an "eggdrop" ??<br>
