That shouldn't be a problem then. Next you have to find whether it is an "hsf" or "hcf" modem. You can usually decipher this by the numbers on the chipset/model number, etc. Most are hsf modems. You can then go to <A HREF="http://www.linuxant.com">http://www.linuxant.com</A> and download the latest rpm for it, whether hsf or hcf. Then run the rpm as root. It will even make the correct symlink to the device and call it /dev/modem. It will place the correct calls into your /etc/modules.conf file too. You can then use kppp to query the modem and you should be good to go.<BR>

According to the divice manager its a conexant, Made by CXT if thats
any help at all.
