We have a Oracle Traffic Management System running in a Windows 2003
Enterprise Server environment.  Our  production environment consists of:

*	Oracle 10g Database Server
*	Weblogic Application Server
*	(2) Apache Web Server (User Interface, one on the LAN and the
other in the DMZ)
*	Crystal Report Server

 

These servers are all dual dual-core servers with 8GB RAM, running in an
IBM Blade Center.  They all are booting from and EqualLogic iSCSI SAN.

 

We have been experiencing performance related issues due to memory
utilization and the way that Microsoft handles the memory.  We have been
recommended to load the Weblogic and Apache tiers onto Red Hat Linux
servers which will handle the memory more efficiently.  I am not up to
speed with Linux, and do not have the experience or knowledge of
creating a business class installation of Linux.  I am looking for a
Linux Admin, that can come in configure the Linux servers to boot from
the SAN, run performance tests, create backup processes that match or
company requirements, and ensure that the security is properly handled.
I am sure that we would also need basic support with loading the
weblogic, apache and tomcat services.
