[nflug] Router Recommendations

Got an old pc with two network cards that you can throw a linux distro on?
You can make that a pretty powerful router in no time. If you are not a
linux / iptables ninja you might check out http://www.vyatta.com/ . I
haven't used their stuff yet, but it's claimed to be *very* good. They make
an open source router distribution that you can install on any x86 hardware,
and it has full graphical configuration, monitoring, etc.

I can tell you that every time I replace a little soho router box with a pc
running linux, everything gets faster and more stable; I highly recommend
it.

Subject: [nflug] Router Recommendations

Hi,

It seems that we've outgrown our cheap little SOHO type routers. I'm
looking for a good, reliable router which can handle two WAN connections (we
have a T with cable backup) and 30 users. I've been able to soften the blow
to my boss that we can't get away with $75 routers anymore. ;)

Any recommends are appreciated.
